On 23 August the Institute hosted a book launch which was attended by 40 guests in person and five book chapter contributors who shared their perspectives on decolonization based on the chapters they wrote. Two other contributors joined virtually.

The occasion was opened by two key guest speakers, Prof Lynette Schultz and Professor Jennifer Kelly. Guests sampled cultural dishes that families brought to the meeting.
