Edmonton Institute for Diversity Equity Research and Studies (EIDERAS)

 

Erika Ladouceur is a leader who has been engaged in her community since high school when she

received a Millennium Excellence award in 2006. Awarded a Leadership award through

Leadership Victoria in 2016, Erika continues to share her experiences to help others

and is committed to helping her community. Passionate about research, science and

knowledge translation, she has conducted research in ocean sciences with Woods Hole

Oceanographic and social sciences through the University of Alberta's Social Support

Research Program. Bilingual and multi-skilled, Erika has worked in sales, marketing,

technology and has over 15 years experience in sports coaching. Her growth-mindset

has led her to seek new opportunities and develop paddling programs accessible to all

in Victoria, BC.
